
Child protection
The Child Protection component includes three key areas: a) Protection of children in emergency situations, b) Mental health, c) Inclusion, which focuses on children with disabilities. EMI implements these various activities through this program to help create a protective environment for all children.


To ensure safe and effective protection, EMI implements the following activities: Establishment of child-friendly spaces Training of volunteers/child supervisors in child-friendly spaces (CFS) Distribution of play kits for CFS Organization of recreational, creative, and play-based activities Conducting sessions on positive parenting Construction of listening centers within schools Training of psychosocial focal points and teachers on child protection, school violence, mental health, and psychosocial support in schools Referral of cases to appropriate services Healthcare support for children with disabilities (CWD)
